Circles and Squares is a logic puzzle played on a square or rectangular grid containing black and white circles.

• Cells with a black circle must be shaded (blackened).

• Cells with a white circle must remain unshaded.

• Shaded cells divide the remaining white cells into separate areas.
  Each white area must form a perfect square (e.g., 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, …).

• No 2×2 block of cells may be entirely shaded.

• All shaded cells must form one orthogonally connected group (connected by sides).

Solved by logic alone; the puzzle has a unique solution.
