Nurikabe is a logic puzzle played on a square grid with numbered cells.

Shade some cells to form the sea; leave the others unshaded as islands.
Each numbered cell belongs to an island whose size equals the number.
Islands are orthogonally connected and cannot touch each other, even diagonally.
All shaded cells (the sea) must form one single orthogonally connected area.
No 2×2 block of cells may be entirely shaded.
