Tapa is a logic puzzle created by Serkan Yürekli (Turkey).

Shade (blacken) some cells in the grid.

All shaded cells must form one orthogonally connected region.
-
No 2×2 block of cells may be entirely shaded.
Clues
-
Numbered clue cells are never shaded.
-
A clue describes the shaded cells in the eight surrounding cells (including diagonals).
-
Each number gives the length of a consecutive block of shaded cells around the clue cell (counted along the ring of 8 neighbors).
-
If a clue has multiple numbers, the shaded blocks must be separated by at least one unshaded cell.
Question marks
-
A ? may replace a clue number and represents any nonzero integer.
